Camp Overview: Embody Hockey is excited to announce our camp, specifically designed for hockey players born in the years 2008 to 2010. This comprehensive camp is structured to prepare athletes for their upcoming tryouts, focusing on enhancing all aspects of their game including skating, body contact, and overall hockey skills. Camp Details: • Birth years 2008 – 2010 • 11 hours of On-Ice Sessions • 10 Personal Growth Sessions • 10 Video Sessions Cost: $750 Per Player **Goalies please reach out if you would like to attend** Session Breakdown: • 20-minute Dynamic Warm-up: This session starts with a comprehensive routine to prepare the body for peak performance. This essential warm-up phase not only helps in preventing injuries but ensures that players are ready to fully engage in the subsequent training activities with increased flexibility, mobility, and focus. • 1 Hour of Ice Time: These sessions include intensive on-ice training focused on advanced skating techniques, body contact skills, puck handling, shooting accuracy, and hockey IQ. • 30-minute Leadership/Personal Growth Session: In these interactive sessions, players will engage with the Embody Hockey Handbook to develop leadership qualities and personal growth. The handbook encompasses essential topics such as Embracing Coachability, Goal Setting, Defining Your Game, Confidence Building, and Character Development. • 30-Minute Video Analysis Session: These video sessions will dive into reviewing and analyzing gameplay footage to understand game dynamics, position-specific strategies, and individual performance. This session will help players visualize and correct their techniques, understand game strategies, and learn from professional play scenarios. • Written Analysis: At the end of the camp, every participant will receive a detailed written analysis from our head coach. This report will highlight the player's strengths, identify any weaknesses, and pinpoint key areas for immediate improvement. Additionally, it will provide clear recommendations for the player's continued development, offering a strategic roadmap for their next steps in advancing their hockey skills and career.
